United Healthcare Coverage Availability & Fees
When you see an in-network dentist, your level of coverage is higher. This is because we negotiate our services and rates with the insurance company. We always do everything we can to ensure that you pay the lowest price for the services you receive.
Every plan is a little bit different, so it is always best to confirm coverage before undergoing a treatment or procedure. Most plans include 100% of preventive services. This includes dental checkups, X-rays, cleanings, and more. Your plan will also likely cover between 70-80% of minor restorative services (dental fillings, etc.) and approximately 50% of major restorative services (dental crowns, dentures, etc.). If you have a Medicare Advantage plan through United Healthcare, you can also receive coverage per the plan that you chose.
When you agree to pay a monthly premium, you will gain access to your benefits. They are good for an entire calendar year. This means that you can attend your routine checkups and receive lower rates on restorative treatment if necessary. Once you have met your annual deductible, your out-of-pocket expenses will be even lower.
